Dr. Anila Simon, a licensed Registered Nurse in Texas, boasts over ten years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the USA before transitioning to her true passion, teaching. She has imparted her knowledge to students at various nursing schools throughout Texas.
Dr. Simon obtained her PhD in Nursing Education from Texas Woman’s University, where she completed her thesis titled “Effect of educational intervention on improvement of critical thinking and clinical judgment skills of internationally educated nurses in NCLEX-RN®“.
Renowned for her exceptional teaching abilities, Dr. Simon also excels in motivating her students and is frequently praised for her compassion and supportiveness. She has made numerous presentations at prestigious associations such as the American Association of Critical Nurses (AACN) and the Texas Nurses Association (TNA). Her achievements include the Daisy Award for Compassionate Nurse, in addition to numerous accolades from hospitals and academic institutions. During her BSN program, she was recognized as the outstanding student for four consecutive years and was awarded the President’s Medal.
